This gingerbread house cookie jar from Japan in the 1960's has the all-over cookie design you'll find with other styles of this era. They made and awful lot of these but not many are left in mint condition such as this.
It's a bit unusual for a cookie jar to be in such exceptional condition considering they were designed to have the lid removed and returned time and again.
