Maurice Chalvinac is a well known artist and ceramicist who arrived in Quebec in 1957 at the height of the Scandinavian influence in design. Born in Paris in 1927, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and is internationally recognized. We have an identical pair but will sell separately.
The jute fiberglass and jute shades are original with a few cracks as shown in 4th photo. But each shade has a good side where no cracks are visible. Each measure approx 36" tall.
